Looking after employees

Launched back in 2004, Mindful Employer is a UK wide initiative run by Devon Partnership NHS Trust. Providing employers with easy access to professional workplace mental health training, information and advice; with a goal to help empower organisations to take a lead in supporting the mental wellbeing of staff.

HBCL have recently signed a nationwide charter to promote good workplace health and wellbeing – The charter is a government led scheme with hundreds of employers signing the charter.

Quality build for quality butcher

Quality online butcher based in Yorkshire Project (ph1) during Q1 2018 and HBCL now moving onto ph2. Circa. 5,000m2 of PIR composite panel and in excess of 30 hygienic doors supplied and fitted. We are proud to be associated with this factory fit out. This is yet another testament to HBCL Coldstores strong track record, unparalleled resume, history and build expertise in the meat processing industry. Agriculture Dutch Barn Build

HBCL Coldstores have been successfully building this project type for many years. Picture illustrates part built, recent project, using more than 3,000m2 of composite panel (PIR and mineral wool) HBCL. Working to deliver high levels of performance on agricultural construction across the UK.

The safe way

HBCL Coldstores. Keeping the cold-store industry great with a recent freezer build, utilising new generation Kingspan Quadcore panels. The ceilings follow the shape of the portal steel frame to maximise space and panel selection to clients brief of a thermally superior insulation. Health & Safety also played a greater requirement than is normal, as operatives were working essentially on a steep incline in the void. A safe method statement was quickly established with our in-house and experienced staff. HBCL, working to deliver high levels of detailed construction safely.

Collaborating to create change

The collaborative efforts that have achieved great success at FareShare Speke will continue with three similar projects in Leeds, Bristol and London throughout 2019.
